This knowledge is vital to a career in health and fitness and will lay the foundation for you to progress to more specialised training. You will learn, among other things, how to select appropriate exercise programmes, how to maintain safety protocols in a gym environment and how to communicate with and provide excellent customer service to gym members and clients.

How is this course delivered? (Study mode & duration)
The course is an online home-study course with a completion period of 2-6 months. You will receive login details for our online learning platform in which you will be able to access your downloadable course material. You will need to complete knowledge questionnaires (4 in total) and an online exam. Additional videos have been included on the portal to enhance your learning experience. You will have a designated online tutor who will provide you with support in the event that you do not grasp specific concepts. An optional 2 hour workshop is offered on a monthly basis at all main campuses (Rivonia, Cape Town and Durban).
